Ben Becker is an associate attorney at Lynch Conger McLane, LLP.  His practice focuses on litigation and common sense problem solving.  From early 2015 until he joined Lynch Conger McLane LLP, Ben was a prosecutor in Klamath County and Crook County.  Ben handled dozens of trials and hearings, negotiated resolutions in hundreds of cases, and argued daily before the court.

Prior to being a prosecutor, Ben represented school districts, education service districts, and community colleges across Oregon.  He acted in the capacity of litigation counsel, general counsel, and third-party investigator.  The primary focus of his representation involved pre-litigation advice relating to employment law, civil rights, regulatory compliance, municipal law, contract drafting, and personal injury defense, in which he counseled clients on hundreds of issues.  He litigated in both state and federal courts and administrative agencies (e.g. ODE, USDOE, BOLI, and EEOC), presented to school boards, administrators, and staff on several different employment law topics, conducted investigations into race discrimination, sexual harassment, and Title IX complaints, and advised on appropriate responsive action.   Ben worked directly with insurance adjusters when negotiating settlements, resignations, and during mediations.
